- iMechanism.com.au was asked to dig around in the various database tables and web server logs to provide an overview of usage patterns within mc2 for the past 6 months.

- YFS is a not-for-profit organisation, run by, for and with the local community. People of all ages in Logan City, Queensland, and the surrounding areas use YFS services. YFS aim to help people overcome problems and reach their goals in life. They offer many different services, from legal advice to disability support; from counselling to help finding work. YFS were interested in improving their communications, both internal and external, via social media, SMS messaging and other tools. iMechanism.com.au worked with YFS to identify their main requirements and then devised an implementation plan and training materials for the use of Facebook, Twitter and an internal wiki.

- iMechanism.com.au was engaged as part of a team looking at ways to improve Community Connectedness in Gold Coast City Council. Our role included evaluating existing web-based projects in the area that could be used as models. We then conducted and analysed surveys, interviews and workshops with project participants to map out some options for GCCC to pursue to support community connectedness.

- iMechanism.com.au provided technical support for the collation of government website information relating to green issues. This involved development of an interface to popular search engines to collect raw data automatically, followed by a filtering interface to assist content editors to rate the quality of web pages discovered.

- Usability Evaluation
- Requirements Specification
- The first stage of this project was an Evaluation of the existing website application to determine whether a redevelopment was required. iMechanism.com.au provided the technical expertise to look at whether the existing code behind the application could be extended, or a from-the-ground-up redevelopment was required.
- In the second stage, iMechanism.com.au was involved in the detailed Requirements Gathering and Specification exercise aimed at a full redevelopment of the mc2 application. The specification was required in order to allow the development work to be put out for tender.
